As Brazilian mango exports to Europe, the main market, grew 29.3% in volume from January to September this year, compared to the same period in 2020, in the São Francisco Valley, where the exporters of the fruit are based.
The climate in the São Francisco Valley, the main producing region of mangoes, grapes, and melon, and the absence of phytosanitary problems helped producers in this year of 2021. It is also important to highlight that with the return of on-site international events, such as the Spanish fair Fruits Attraction, and especially, with the trend back to normality after the peak of Covid-19, the export numbers of mangoes and other fruits should leverage even more.
